easing into saturday

Just checking in with a few easy listening tracks.
Dire Straits - Wild West End
Neil Young - Motion Pictures
LCD Soundsystem - never as tired as when i'm waking up
The first track is from the same album that featured "Sultans of Swing", a staple of classic rock radio, but on any given day I'd rather hear Wild West End. There's been a deserved resurgance of interest lately in middle-period Neil Young albums like Zuma and On The Beach. Notice the stylistic similarities to James Murphy's song and the Beatles' Dear Prudence. Enjoy.
Purchase Dire Straits' self-titled debut, Neil Young's "On The Beach," or LCD Soundsystem's self-titled debut.

keep 'em coming, man. good stuff.
